C&B offers some of the most engaging and effective Beginner to Pro music tuition in NZ. Lessons are specifically catered for each student, with their own goals set as the #1 priority.

In early 2018, the Director of C&B, Liam Crawford, founded C&B Music Tuition alongside fellow bandmate and friend Jono Blackie. Combining last names and skillsets to create the very first form of C&B (Crawford & Blackie).

After 3 years of tutoring, Jono decided to take a step back from his role as a tutor in pursuit of his Live Drum & Bass project ‘Dr. Joctapus’, whilst still providing valuable input to C&B.

Liam continued his tuition, and during this time accumulated over 30 Guitar and Bass students, prompting the introduction of a second tutor Sam Butler, another long time friend and bandmate, who ultimately became the new ‘B’ in C&B.

At the beginning of 2023 we began offering Vocal/Songwriting Lessons from the amazingly talented May Clark (May C). A multi-talented vocalist, performer and songwriter, with various accolades under her belt.

As it stands, C&B still offers a wide range of the best private lessons, band mentoring, and mobile lessons to suit every possible need and style.
